Don't know if it has an impact, but two weeks later your getting into the shadow of Memorial Day travel, schools (university) are ending for summer, etc.

Plus United just announced a price hike due to rising fuels costs (though don't know what that's impacting).

It is the weekend before Memorial Day; I thought that wouldn't impact it, but I may be wrong.

I don't know if there are different times but Bing's travel search is showing $331 for SNA to DSM on the 22nd and return the 24th on United (through O'Hare outbound and Denver coming back). And the result it is returning for that is through CheapTickets.

If I leave at 8 in the morning, I can get cheaper flights. But this is a company paid trip. While I don't like to waste money, I am going to fly at a reasonable hour since I am already giving up my Sunday.

By flying out through Chicago (which I normally try to avoid), departing around 2:00 and returning through Denver, departing around 4:00 gets me down to $461 + tax

It's a very strange feeling to be perusing my college transcript a decade after graduating.

I wish I could shove it deep into my brain in such away that it automatically appears in my mind's eye any time that damned dream starts. You know the one. "Oh fvck, it's the last day of school and I completely flaked on that one class! I don't even know where the room is so I can go beg the teacher to give me a D instead of an F so I can graduate! I've had that same dream! lol. I've also changed it up by being in class doing something only to realize I'm not wearing a shirt and/or pants. I have a similar dream about being late to work, so late in fact that day is almost done and I haven't even called in.
