OK....so Claire's psychic, the guy Eko went to see, says he's a fraud. Does this mean what he told Claire in season one is fraudulent? For a fake, he sure did seem freaked out about Claire and certain of the flight she needed to be on. Or perhaps, since his daughter obviously has some sort of gift, did he get the info from her?

Anyway...where does that tube lead, xharryb? I would guess to the question mark, but who knows.

What's the deal with Marvin Candle changing his name to Mark Wickman in the video found in the other hatch?

Eko is perhaps my favorite character, so I was glad to see more of him than we have the last few weeks.

Very sad episode.

Did you try with closed captions? I have to do some extra manipulation to get mine to come up, so didn't get around to it last night. I'm wondering if it's spelled out there. Sometimes they just say [garbled].

No, actually. I had never thought of trying that. Perhaps if I have the time today I'll bring it up and check it out.

ETA: I have another thought......I wonder if the new station that monitors the other stations records anything? Perhaps there is a tape of Michael shooting Ana Lucia and Libby? Perhaps this is why Ana Lucia appears to Eko in a dream to have him go find the place?

This is what is in the sequence after AL tells Eko he needs to help John (at the begnining of the show):

A body (appears to be a white male) in the water
A cross necklace (his brothers?) on the ground
Legs running through the jungle (appear to be black)
The teddybear on a string
Fire in a fire pit
Someone (Jinn?) blindfolded
Virgin Mary statues at the church
The plane on fire with [I think] Eko and Charlie watching it
Ekos brother
Dharma Logo with the arrow
A bible
Ekos stick with the bible quotes on it
His brothers burned body (just the head and teeth)
Locke [the look on his face is similar to when he was looking at the map on the blast doors]


I went to re-watch that scene to see what else I missed and my TiVo hit a bunch of other scenes: Pulling bodies out of the water, the monster, the plane scene where his brother gets on the drug plane and the army comes. I know I missed more.

I thought the new hatch IS the question mark. Isn't that what Eko saw when he was up on top of the cliff?

We paused on the printout of the log, nothing really to make of it. Sequence of odd numbers (odd as in not divisble by 2, not odd as in strange). Couldn't correlate them to anything. And we slow-mo'd the sequence of images in Eko's dreams, right after Anna tells him to help Locke. All things we've seen before (scenes from Eko's backstory and time on the island + the Darma symbol).

I'd just like to point out...a piece of paper stuck in a pneumatic tube like that would go nowhere. That's not how pneumatics work.

Here's my question. Who's watching the wathers? Eko noticed that even that hatch has a camera. I'm thinking that whoever was in that hatch was also part of the experiment...perhaps a control set. The name-change of lab-coat dude would support that.
