I, too, never like to use the word "hate". It's a strong & powerful word. I like to say & think kind thoughts about people!
![]() Having said that, all of roads of vile disgust lead to OJ. That sinister, low-life sh*t bag. Whew! All better now! |

eh, I dont really 'hate' anyone.
wish them ill? yeah would like very much to bludgeon them to a gooey puddle with a frozen leg of lamb? sure could watch them tumble down a 12 story flight of stairs and get a really good laugh out of it? undoubtedly. but not 'hate'

The definition of "Hate" has changed over the years I believe: Didn't it once mean simply to "like less" than something else?

If so then I hate every movie I've ever seen except All About Eve. And all breakfast cereals other than Honey Bunches of Oats.
I think it has always meant something much stronger than what you describe. I try to separate hate of action from hate of the actor. Something of a hate the sin, not the sinner approach. I also think there is something inherently different in meaning between when a person says "I hate Hitler" or "I hate George Bush" and "I hate disco" or "I hate raisins in bread pudding." |
