ooo OOO! LOOKIE!!

This company made the pregnancy test that Sun took as well as being the logo on Henrys balloon.

And the fine print at the bottom says

This site is also officially unofficial, whatever that means.

Meaning that yes, it is a real website, but not put on by the official LOST people and not part of the official story or game.

A couple of points:

The scientists at the end where speaking Portugese.

I do not think the magnetic force was the direct cause of the plane crash, as planes are made from aluminium.

I also don't think the healing affect will go away now. I don't think there is a connection. Darma has several projects (including life extension and nanotech), Magnetism was only one of them.

The Other's village is a stage set (as is most of the island, I suspect). It was only dressed and peopled for Michael's benefit.

Libby's dead husband had the same name as Hurley's imaginary pal.

I think Eko & Locke escaped the hatch. Charlie was surprised that they weren't at the beach; leading me to think that he saw them get out in time.

A lot of things were attracted by the magnet that I'm willing to bet wouldn't be attracted in real life. I think they're going wide on that interpretation. Besides, structural parts of the plane must have some steel in them, right?

Speaking of magnetism, Eko's cross did not react to the magnet, although it's been attracted before. I think it was a continuity error.

I wonder what it would be like for a person in an extreme magenetic field. Would you feel nothing, as Eko and Locke seemed to in the last moments?

Good catch on the Portuegese - I noticed it the "por favor" variation while watching it but completely forgot it today

I suppose this one goes a bit beyond the standard MRI.

No. Too heavy. Most airplanes are aluminium and non-metal composites.

I also started to worry after last nights episode that there isn't a "master plan/map" for the show. I had read the EW article and was surprised that they seemed to say they were making it up as they went along and would keep that up as long as the ratings where there.

Wouldn't it be better to have the general plan of the show mapped out with a set timeframe - say 3 seasons, which seems to me to be about how long good shows can stay good. You plan it out - after season 3 it's done, resolved. Then if it's all that popular you can have spin-offs. Maybe another show about the original "incident" or a show set in the 70's with the original people participating in the experiment.

I wasn't a fan of Alias but a good friend was obsessed, until that show went all wacky for a couple seasons. Then they had to sort of basically act like those seasons never happened and go back to the original premise. That's what makes me a little worried as well since that was an Abrams project too.

I am going into the summer break with the "implanted memories" theory unsullied.
