Sorry I'm so far behind, and I don;t want to read ahead in the thread BUT....

I like to check the HTML code for various sites, and if you go to http://www.thehansofoundation.org/ and select >View >Source amongst the HTML code you find the following website: http://www.rachelblake.com

It appears Ms Blake has travelled in both ICELAND and DENMARK (and the Italian Riviera) - OOer... that's where Hanso is recruiting ! !

If anyone has any secrets about this site, I'll be reading this far in the thread in about 4-5 weeks, I guess. Darn delays....

One other question....what was that bird thing? It looked like it was made out of plants. Another thing about the date of 9/22/2004....that was the date the pilot episode aired.

Yup, they're sticking to their guns on the date. The first few episodes had references to the current day and they can't waver from that.

The behind-the-scenes stuff on the first season DVD was very straight-forward about "we wrote the whole arc already" and the 5-season plan. It was very reassuring and I recommend everyone rent that.

I'm glad you guys are either catching the connections or reading them elsewhere (like Kelvin), because I'm so bad with the names

Summer means time to catch up on DVD watching before LOST comes back on!

I see your train of thought with that, and would tend to agree, but the freezing arctic climate was more like Greenland, Iceland is actually a lot greener and more temperate. (Named contrasting to throw off invaders).
I really think that Penelope is trying to undermine her dad. (Persephone perhaps?)

And what's Michael's deal? Who would kill two peope and give up four others to get their kid back. Yes you want your kid back but that's way way extreme. Especially since he really only got Walt back right before the crash.

What happened to Desmond after he turned the switch?

I liked that all the notebooks just went to some random pile in the jungle, although the were quite well preserved for having been sitting out in the elements. So was the observation of the other experiments yet another experiment in itself? There was a camara visible in the hatch.

Well, they were sealed in their little pneumatic tubes (I'm still annoyed that that piece of paper made it through the pneumatics...that ain't how they work).

I've assumed as much from the moment they found the Pearl.

No. Nanotech smoke monster. (Seeing that in print makes "tractor beam" seem oh so much more plausable!)

We know that Dharma has a nanotech project. We heard the Smoke Monster sound when the plane was breaking up. <shrug> Only the writers know for sure.
