The glut has begun. For the last week, there have been gift baskets, fruit cakes, cookie trays galore left out for us to pick at while we work. And I happen to sit within steps of the customary communal food dispensing area, so I'm doomed. Doomed to snacky hell.

I see we aren't the only office to be in a serious junkfood shortage

Vendors have been bringing in lunches, candy, cookies, cupcakes, cookies and more food. Employees have been bringing in baked goods. And just in case we wanted some more sweets to go with our sweets we had a birthday celebration with 2 Costco size cakes and red punch.
