Went to my audition last night for the one act festival. It was pretty fun. There are about 7 mini-plays in all. I got to read for 4 of them. Talk about schizophrenia! We should be hearing back from them soon.
I got a friend of mine to audition, too. She told me the other day that she wanted to try acting. So I told her about the auditions. She signed up. She did great. Her first audition ever. She totally rocked. I hope she gets in. |

Yeah, saw some of that in Edinburgh a couple of years ago. Scottish men in kilts on trampolines make for a great view.

So, I just got an email from the assistant director of the one-act festival. I got offered a part in a play called 'Surprise'. The role is Peter and he's a psychic who is dating a woman who is frustrated with the fact that he can read her mind and anticipate her emotions, words, everything. Totally cool. I'm going to study David Blaine for the role. I can look like him if I try.
