I am about to go into escrow myself, and just sold a house that had a similar situation with the owner, if possible have someone else clean the house out after she is gone, it is terribly depressing to sort though it all yourself, take my word for it.

So ugh, my boss -- whom I like very much considering we work 3000 miles away from each other -- just announced he's leaving. So as of the day after tomorrow I'll be on to the 11th person I've direct reported to in the 3.5 years I've been here.

That's what we have. Just remove the sponge filter and wash it thoroughly with dish soap and warm water. Don't put it back in until it's completely dry. Should solve the problem.

I'm guessing the fact that his employer was bought out in the chaos of the the banking industry collapse is the biggest contributing factor.
