WB, I had them as an adult because my parents couldn't afford them. I had them when I was 22-27 for 5 years because things move more slowly when you are older and I had a lot of moving to do. It really wasn't all that bad, though. Just follow all the instructions to the letter.

I hope it helps with the TMJ. The trouble you go through now will save a hugh trouble down the road!

I had them for 5 years as a kid. My teeth were really bad. They're not perfect now but they're way better than they were. I think it's worth it to do. I'm glad I did it... Nelson Muntz taunting and all...

5 years here also. Had braces and a neck gear for 2 years, got them off for a few months while the rest of my teeth grew in, then had braces for another 3 years. It sucked, but totally worth it as my teeth were horrible.

Thanks- I'll post some stuff if I can ever figure out how to use our scanner. She's getting pretty good at sketching people, although I wish she'd get away from Manga drawing.
