So, I finally saw "The King's Speech" last night. That Barbossa is one multi-faceted guy. It's been a long time since a movie completely took me into its world. Wonderful!

maybe his 'scrip was for a chill pill. he very obviously needed a couple.

what Ive found in those cases is that if you talk to them, 99.9% of the time, since you have a history of having the med anyway, they'll give you a few to get through until they can contact the Dr for clarification, then fill it afterward, but you kinda have start off not being a general douchebag about it

I hate it when people get irate like that... I get their pain. It happens so much to Jason and I. However, yeah, he should have called his doc.

More odd, to me, is that the pharmacy didn't offer to call the doctor's office right off the bat. Of the couple dozen times that we've come in with an incomplete prescription at any of the pharmacies we've had they have always called before even telling us that there was a problem, or let us know that they were about to. We've called at the same time ourselves, just to stress the urgency of the prescription correction.

The whole situation just seems like a C.F.

Ooh, ditto on Capt. Jack's note. After hours, they've given him enough to get through the night/next day if it's something he's been on before.

Makes me wonder if this person is a regular troublemaker for them not to help him out.

Yeah, I felt BOTH parties were being douchebags and preferring to argue over looking for a solution. It's this unfortunate cultural phenomena I've been noticing recently. I also find that very public displays of anger sort of frighten me.

Maddie is very amused that the rug she likes at Ikea is the same as her middle name. She thinks it must be a sign.

Wow, how weird is that! I have an avocado waring blender from the '70s that's called "Cirquelover". I'm willing to part with it, I'll overnight it to you for only $735.92.

You know, sometimes people use anger/hissyfits to try and cover for/get away with something. Which is why it would be dangerous for the pharmacy to give in.
