WOW! I wonder if you could mold the cups then bake eggs in them?

I wonder if the cup could withstand additional heat. I do figure that you could easily scramble an egg and put it in there. With cheese on top.

Yummy- egg bacon and cheese? How can it be anything but fabulous? Let me know if it works!
I guess if you keep the heat low it might not crumble too badly.

Sounds delicious! Maybe next weekend I'll give it a try.

I think if you baked the cups, then scrambled some eggs (perhaps with onion and bell peppers), then put the eggs in the finished cups, top with cheese and put under the broiler untill melted it would be the best breakfast treat ever!!!

Our Portland morning show had a segment on eating out in PDX today. The theme was it's always better with bacon!
A place called Gilt had the BLT drink, it was tomato vodka, lemon and bacon salt around the rim. Park kitchen had bacon fries. It was bacon strips dipped in tempura and fried along with green beans. They said they were looking for an companion for their green bean fries and thought " Everyone likes bacon"! They looked yummy. Lastly there was Le Pigeon where they had a bacon dessert. They said they actually fry up many unusual bacons for their dishes, like duck. For dessert it was corn bread topped with maple ice cream with a bacon sauce drizzled over top. It looked unusual. I figured I had to share with all the LoT bacon lovers! |
