I liked the flashbacks for Shannon. Definitely made her a much more sympathetic character. That bitch of a stepmom totally screwed her. You know she offered Boone the job just so that Shannon wouldn't have a place to stay in NYC. Bitch.
I also loved the closure on the hint that it was Shannon's dad who was killed by Jack's future wife. Thanks writers! The final moments as Sayid is beginning to stand up... I think he might just kick Ana Lucia's ass. I can't wait to see the Bernard/Rose reunion! |

They should start the next episode right where this one left off....and have Sayid just come over and beat the living hell out of Ana. Everyone just stands back and watches...America cheers....and when she's finally gone, the show goes on.
 Remember, Jack chose to work on saving the woman (his future wife) and not Shannon's dad. So you could blame him. I love that this show actually has an evil stepmother storyline!

if they'd listened to walt (shushing them), she wouldnta got shot. but noooooo.....
nor would the gunshot tipped off whoever to their location, and now Said is gonna lay some serious smackdown on Ana......and shes outta bullets. gotta love it. every epidsode ends with me having a massive headache.

Well, the others already knew where there were at - Walt was there, and the voices were heard, so the gunshot isn't going to alert them to anything they didn't already know.
Speaking of those sneaky others, that was a bit creepy when they were going up the side of the semi-cliff carrying Sawyer and one of the tailies just disappeared. So do we have some sort of soylent green going on here? Do the others just grab someone when they're hungry? Why else, when they could very easily kill them all (easy pickin's when they were going up that psuedo-cliff), would they only be taking one? Maybe they just like to play. |
