Since we are posting pictures of kitties under the Christmas tree here is an old picture of mine. This is my cat Puff. He loved hanging out under the tree at Christmas time.

Mufasa's eyes are actually green, but they give off a bit of blue in certain light. And, they'll also look gold from a certain angle too. They're somewhat iridescent like peacock feathers.
