Fake Walt Biopic Poster

Unfortunately, this is part of a series of posters for fake movies done by a French artist. It would be incredible if it were real! Gosling would be perfect!

Heheh, I was just coming here to post about this poster. Too bad. Me loves Gosling, me loves Walt. He'd be perfect as a dashing young Walt Disney just hitting DCA, I mean Los Angeles. Le sigh.

I was disappointed not to see a logo at the bottom for Jim Henson's Creature Shop. You know, for the slipping back and forth from reality sequences.

I don't know if a Walt biopic will ever happen. But, I am aware of an unauthorized play that dramatizes the fruitful but contentious relationship of Walt and Roy across several decades. It had a staged reading in Orlando in January (well-received), and has been submitted for consideration in a local festival of original plays. The author is a former Imagineer and a heck of a nice guy. It's called My Brother Walt, and here's hoping it reaches fruition someday soon.
