My editor and advocate has left the publisher I've been talking to and working with. Back to square one with them.

On the bright side, I'm now free to look elsewhere.

I've got a querry in to the Academy, this is right up their alley. Of course, I am not an academic, nor do I have any real creds when it comes to scholarship, so this is whistling in the dark. At least I have contacts at the Academy that could push this through.

Or bite the bullet and go with blurb.

Bah.

Well, the great news is, my former editor and advocate is still interested in Rudy. At the new press, at least they do have experience in doing art/photography books. I just sent her a quick email, and got an immediate response back. My heart has lightened about 16 tons, there is still hope!
