Had lunch with family at the Cedar Creek Inn in Palm Desert. Had their BLT with a 1/2 pound of bacon. Mmm Hmm Goodness!

Yes, but I am pretty sure that it was a 1/2 pound pre-cooked weight. It wasn't an abscene amount of bacon, just a greater amount of bacon than one is used to getting.

Oh, that makes since. Half pound (8 oz.) raw is probably only 3 oz. cooked!

By they way, does Turkey bacon and imitation bacon bits count? I had both of those today.

I had a pizza at CPK with Applewood Smoked Bacon. I hope this thread will continue to inspire bacon-y additions to meals everywhere!
