oh yeah, he's still got it. I attended his HS graduation last friday (wow, so I guess it really was more than 'last year'). he sent me this pic last month sometime

he, like most HS gearheads has made his own set of 'mods' to it, but still looks as good as ever. better in some respects. great "kid"

yeah, centerlines and some decent radials is about all I ever did to it other than repair/restore work.

My mother's boyfriend (it is weird calling him that - they live together and having been "dating" for 30 or so years) has sitting in his garage a 56 Vette with removeable hard-top (or did they all have that?). It is all original and has about 25,000 miles on it. He has not even started it in about 25 years. He FINALLY started restoring it a couple of years ago and it is his pride and joy. Can't wait to see the finished product. I wonder what kind of insane offers he will get for it once completed?

Well, I want one of these, in this color (or maybe metallic blue)

failing that a 1936 Packard sedan would be nice, harder to park, more expensive to gas, but a very swanky ride.

And because GD and CP have one, and I have a severe case of tv-envy I want this too
