				            | We, Zach & I, saw a commercial for French's fried onion chicken, that's what we're making for dinner! If only In N Out would come closer to the Oregon border! For our last mini vacation we went over the border far enough for In N Out and Black Bear diner. Yep, those were our only destinations. It was so cool to get a burger at midnight and it was so good! |

| BRAAAAAAAINS! | I steered clear of burger tonight (get it? STEER?) - had a big ole plate of rice. I think I'll get Fatburger tomorrow some time. |

| HI! | No beef stew tonight. We had an unscheduled vet visit that took too much time. Plan B is a herb infused dough stuffed with Olive Tapenade, Andouille Sausage and Mushrooms. This is an experiment, so who knows what it will taste like. I'll know in about 10 minutes. |

| I Floop the Pig | Sign #23 that a cookbook will not end up on any list including the phrase "heart healthy". A recipe begins with "over medium heat, melt the butter in the oil" and ends with "stir in the sour cream". Dinner was good.

| HI! | We stopped by a place called The Oinkery, no, The Oinkmeister, no, The Oinkster. Remember that SNL skit that had Chris Farley pounding his heart while saying "Polish. Sausage."? Any moment now...... |

				            | Boy and I took Mom In & Out last night. Today we are doing a yard sale at BF's sister's house. Part of the deal was she would make Boy pisole(sp?), a Mexican soup that uses pork. I found out last night that there probably won't be lunch because she sold more than $500 in food stamps. As a back up plan I made us sandwiches. |

				            | I made Beef Bourguinon (read: fancy french beef stew) for the first time tonight. Normally it can take 12 hours, but with a few choice tricks, it can be made in about 2 hours, and still taste like it cooked all day! It was delish!
