I was slow getting ready this morning so I decided to skip eating at home and grab something out of the vending machine. I figured I had enough change in my car. I didn't. And all I have is 20s in my wallet. I'm hungry. I want a bagel.

Everyone knows I hate the class I'm taking, right? I probably would have dropped it months ago but for one thing....the warm, fresh out of the oven goodness that is the bagels they give us.

Ok, well the bagels and the whole I'd be fired if I didn't take this class thing.

Well I went to a crappy place and had a crappy bagel and egg salad. Crappy.

Must continue my search for good lunch bagels another day.

Follow up to the bagel story...

My work has a work cat. He's usually out in the factory - but I bring him in, in the morning, for some kitty treats and lovers, and occasionally a new kitty toy. He sneaks in other times of the day - and at least half of us just let him roam without taking him outside.

So, we ate the tasty bagels and there are leftovers that aren't put away right away. One of our designers comes in to find Max, the kitty, face first in the open tub of cream cheese, eating away and basically frosting his little kitty face with it! Who knew cats liked cream cheese.

Today I found him lounging under one of the beds (we sell murphy beds) just resting away the day, like he owns the place. It's becoming apparent that we are only visitors in his luxurous home where everyone spoils him and he occasionally catches a mouse (or a bunny. yes, it was very sad.)

Mmmm, just finished my weekly roasted garlic bagel with garlic herb cream cheese. It always ensures a nice quiet Friday where people leave me alone
