Irvine fire

Arson is now the definite confirmed cause.

If I ran the world, I'd catch the arson, hand him a bucket and garden hose, and drop them into the middle of the blaze and wish them luck.

Hmm, this is where you and I part philosophies. Yep, this is a ****ing awful disaster. And how horribly sick a person must be to have chosen to cause it. For me, I'd rather send positive energy to (or better yet, physical action to aid) those who are suffering in this situation. Does anyone know of somewhere we can volunteer?

Check with your local listings. The place that I keep quoting from is my local news syndicate, and they have had four different options for volunteering posted.

It turns out that at least one of the fires was started by a kid playing with matches. So now what do you do?

If the kid is 9? 12? 15? 17?

Absolutely, as do the parents if the kid is a real young-un.

This wasn't the Irvine fire. This was the Buckweed fire up in LA.

The Santiago Fire (Irvine fire) is still arson.

It would be funny if a little rascal started the "Buckwheat" fire, but this was the Buckweed fire.
