| Nueve | Link on colored chicks. From what I understand the dye is relatively harmless, but I personally feel that it takes away from the fact that it is an actual animal that needs care and attention, rather than a toy to be bored with and throw away after the feathers grow out, which contrary to the article I linked, takes longer than just a 'couple' of weeks to fully grow out. ETA: I do feel differently about coloring chicks for scientific purposes, which has been done, and is more understandable to me.

				            | With all the cases I've handled I've yet to represent a painted poodle. In all my trips to San Quentin, I've yet to see a painted poodle. Humans with tattoos? That's a different story.

| Nueve | While poodles are arguably some of the smartest dogs I've come across, I've always found groomed poodles to be one of the most ridiculous-looking breeds ever... so the bright colors fit, in a way. And yeah, for the sake of the dogs, I hope they're colorblind, as well.

				            | Encyclopedia Brown taught me they were, but that asshole lied. Turns out they aren't (or aren't completely, particularly at the violet end of the spectrum). |

				            | For the love of Pete! Why would you do that to an animal? I just don't understand people, at all. I'm actually getting very disgusted with society this week. Ok, I have been for a while but I just don't get it, do humans no longer come with brains?! |
