I just commented on this yesterday to Gary. In one day I saw Ellen doing some Alleve spiel with her director or someone. Then last night as I was trying to sleep I heard Jimmy Kimmel doing some ad on his show. It actually reminds me of the 50's sponsoring of shows and how the host would always give a spiel about some product.

You need to all know (and of course the terrible imitation Aussie accent gives it away) that this isn't an Australian product, and we've never had these ads or product over here.

Maybe if we call them aussie (without capitalisation) that will stop any antipodean confusion.
