We deal with a lot of other variables, but being able to differentiate between subtle hues is very important for a colorist. They tested us in school and anyone who failed the color test could not be certified in chemical services that involved coloring. That slight difference between one hue to the next is the difference between gorgeous and hideous, and if you can't see it you're in trouble.

Heh! I got a 15 and figured I'd done badly (if a lower score is better.) Guess I did OK! I have a harder time right in the middle of the transitions, I think.
