My old Mr. Coffee machine has been acting up - not draining right with some ground overflow the last couple of times I made coffee. Then I dropped the pepper grinder on the glass pot and broke it.

Today I made the grand investment of $16 and bought a new Mr. Coffee machine.

I looked at the single serving pod type ones briefly. Is the coffee really that much better for $120?

Better? No. Faster and convenienter enough? Possibly. Not high on my list of frivolous niceties to spend $ on, but definitely on the list somewhere.

I'm with NA Mayo is gross.

And I have a pod coffee machine. Which I love. I don't make coffee daily, usually just on weekends if that. So buying a pound of coffee it will go stale before I ever use it up. Besides you can get all different kinds and switch it up. Plus what I didn't know when I got it is you can get a reusable filter and use your own coffee or tea in it.

It even makes iced tea.

I prefer Best Foods but that's cause I'm a West coast girl. My Mom loves the Miracle Whip but I haven't had to eat it in years!

So like I said I'm bored so i went and picked blackberries across the road from Walmart. I am baking a yummy blackberry pie now!
