It is a bad idea to surf the internet late at night-at least for me. At 2am this morning I was busy on Amazon, Target, Walmart and Toys r Us websites. On the plus side I am getting a lot of my Christmas shopping done. On the down side for every 1 thing I buy someone else I am buying 1 thing for me.

I've fallen, and am smitten, AND am head-over-heels in love with a semi-bald, shaved, 3-legged, full of stitches, Elizabethan collared (the neck cone!) big bandage sock on the rear leg and foot, about to begin chemotherapy little black Labrador Retriever that I lovingly call my little snow pea. She's featured, pre-surgery, in my avatar.

And she's still the most gorgeous little doll I've ever seen. I can't wait to go home and hug and kiss her!

It's a bad idea to quit a job without having another one lined up to replace it. Never done it myself, but still know it's a bad idea.

Sorry Mousey; I wasn't referring to you. In fact, I wasn't even thinking about your situation when I posted that. Just a general thought that came to me today when I was contemplating walking out.

It's a bad idea to watch Saw II. Ya, I watched it, errr most of it. I did not willingly go, it was an office field trip. Those who know me well... Well if you need anything done at 3am for the next 2 weeks let me know.

Oh, here's one I learned by experience at the Plaza Pavilion:

It's a bad idea to try to extinguish a candle in a small hurricane (a glass enclosure around the candle, not the weather system) by placing a paper napkin over the top.
