"How Do You Do?" From my To Do List to You - Page 4

Wendy here.

My list has gone missing. I suspect it may be at the bottom of my purse, which, ironically, was #4 on the list of things to clean out.

I may just have to come up with a new one, because there is no way I'm going in after it! In the meanwhile, I'm gonna just hang out and not do a damn thing.

Oh crap. My to do list. It's incredibly long this week. Everything on it is both urgent and important. Honestly, I'm not sure there are enough waking hours for me to do everything I need to do this week. Crap. Curse my procrastinating ways!

Traci's list reminded me of my auction to-do list because Dream Dinners has donated two things to our auction. A $100 certificate and a half-off party for 12. So twelve people can get together, make their dinners together, they provide goodies and drinks, and we get it all for half-off! I'm loving that! We already have a few of us who are going to go in together to buy the dinner-making party.

I'm getting nada done today. But that's all right by me.

I took a "sick" day yesterday.

And now my apartment is sparkling, beautifully, wonderfully clean. My closests? Neat. My room? Spick and span and adorable. My bed? Made, pillows and all. And I'm getting well organized at work.

My head feels cleaner.

My heart lighter.

Strangely, my libido feels dampened, but that probably has to do with feeling like a housewife yesterday, and not enjoying the role very much. But the sense of accomplishment I felt after all was done...priceless. I even did my laundry. And took clothes to the dry cleaners, clothes that have been sitting in my closet for over a year because I was too lazy to walk them to the dry cleaners. A suit I forgot I had. A nice suit.

Ah, I'm going to dress to impress next week.

All that's on my to do list this weekend is HAVE FUN!

When I used to work..at the job I totally hated...for the Queen of Witches...having kids was nice..."OH..Kat's not feeling well today."

Of course, this used to piss me off to no end when my employees would call in sick because of their kids...Of course I let them off...but I was always wondering.......
