| I Floop the Pig | Today I got the propane tank for our freakishly efficient bbq filled (owned it for 8 years, and this is only the 2nd time I've had to fill it, and not for lack of use). So I needed to welcome the new tank properly. Ralph's had porterhouse "cowboy cuts" (2 inch thick mouthwatering cuts of yum) on sale. Grilled one of those up with a parmesean-black pepper crust. Also used the grill to roast garlic for garlic mashed potatoes. Side salad with dressing made using some oil reserved from a jar of sun dried tomatoes.

				            | I had to break in my non-stick grill tray and made grilled vegetables basted with some butter, olive oil, crushed garlic, rosemary and thyme. I like the contrasting flavors the marinade brings out. |

				            | I made baked chicken that was marinaded is some storebought baja citris seasoning with orange juice. Made an orange-ish sauce to go with it, some roasted broccoli (a great way to make it if you've never tried it) with olive oil, salt and pepper and a little parm on top when it was tender crisp and roasty on the ends. Also made noodely stuff - browned butter, rotini and parm cheese (or mizithra). Definately a dinner I'll be making again.
