Got my new camera!!! Happy happy me! Nikon D-5000. Already started playing with it. Ordered a 2nd battery for it, but tomorrow at Disney I'll have to keep to the capacity of the one battery that came with it. I hope it's enough...

Ooh, I just bought a new poster! No, it's not Valentino, alas. It's graphically pleasing to me and satifies a desire of some years. It will need to go to the restorer to fix some previous poor restoration, but it's okay. Squee, I got it cheap, too! Circa 1920-1925. I've always loved the Paramount logo.

Well, It looks like I'm not going to find a job before Christmas - but the happy part is we're now getting ready for our Christmas with the family in Forster.
We leave the day after my Birthday (21st) - I can't wait !!
