Ps: The real goal for the lottery is to be the ONLY winner for a particular drawing. With a pick like 1,2,3,4,5:6 I'd be afraid of having to split the pot with dozens of other smart asses. | |

				            | I would think that at the top of the list would be any form of cancer that could result in amputation. Second place I would give to esophageal. I don't know if I should pick a number. Even if I don't believe in luck it can breed disappointment. Last time we were in Reno (about 9 months ago, not part of the current streak) as we were getting out of the car I joked to Lani that once we were inside I was going to put $100 on 8 at the first roulette table I saw. Of course, as we walked past that first roulette table we stopped to watch and it came up 8. |

				            | I was on the phone earlier with a woman who couldn't understand why her grandmother, who lives in Guatamala, isn't eligible to Medi-Cal.

				            | So, speaking of visuals that inspire one to gouge out their eyes with a hot poker, this 40- or 50- something chick walked by a bit ago, dressed the same way as her older teen daughter - in short jean shorts. There's just something SO wrong about 50-something ass cheek falling out of teen-length shorts!
