So saw my old college room mate tonight and in my catching up had to explain the disney thing, the fact that I met most my friends on the internet, and why people associate the € symbol with me. He will be going to our 20th reunion next month. I will not, but I sispect I've given him some stories to tell...

I was at the DLR today for almost 8 hours and I didn't ride one attraction. Maybe this should be posted in the "confessions" thread instead.

Checked out the new "Disney Treasures" book. Had to buy.

We tried to figure out how much it is going to end of costing to purchase the entire Oszlewski (sp?) Disneyland. We guessed about $10,000. The Sleeping Beauty Castle is awesome. There will be a Z-guage train that (initially) runs around Main Street but MAY eventually go around the entire park. They will be setting up the entire Main Street in the Gallery for the 5th. It will be 6' long (the Ozslewski Main Street; the 5th won't be 6' long).

So, yesterday at the DLR was "Lisa is Invisible Day". I was ankle-bruised by a couple of strollers, walked into by at least 6 people, the waitress at TJ's had me on ignore and I generally felt as if I didn't exist. Very strange experience for someone who is fairly loud and almost 6' tall and usually VERY visible.

So, today I went for a snack break with a guy I used to know ages ago from local Citadel BBSs. He now works downstairs in our IS department. so we got caught up. And he's still in contact with all these people I used to know -- only like here, I don't know their "real" names. It's been a weird day as time loops over and I'm connected with my even more unstable 1993 self.

Disneyphile, Frodo Potter, GusGus and I were at the resort last night as well. But

We didn't get there until around 6:30
We had dinner at Hook's Point
We didn't make it into the park until about 10:20 - and that was only to look at the new "Disney Treasures" book at the Music Store (thanks Mickey Lumbo) followed by the obligatory visit to our artwork hanging on the walls at Disneyana.
