				            | I bought the new Lenny Kravitz cd and have been grooving on that. I realized I hadn't bought a cd for a few years, although Gary has bought many! |

| Missed it by that much.. | New Sheryl Crow release. A bit disappointing because of too many cover songs. Wynton Marsalis live. Loving it! George Carlin, sometimes though this guy goes wayyyy overboard.

				            | While he does occasionally have some funny stuff, I long ago gave up on his rantings.

| Nueve | I threw together a quick playlist of stuff that I could listen to and work without too much distraction. Right now: Styx - "Fooling Yourself" Next: Tom Waits - "The Piano Has Been Drinking (Not Me)" <-- <3 this song Rilo Kiley - "Three Hopeful Thoughts" Blackalicious - "Alphabet Aerobics" Queen - "Killer Queen" and then... Arling & Cameron - "We Love Dancing" <-- the song that will forever be sung as "We Love Pookie" Aww... You know, I still miss Dex. I may just skip ahead so I can be all happy-thoughtted again...

				            | Dex was the best. Anyone here listened to A Fine Frenzy? It's not a band so much as just the delightfully talented singer/songwriter Alison Sudol. Her debut album, One Cell In The Sea, is on my frequent rotation list these days, especially the "title" track, actually called "The Minnow and the Trout," as fine a humanist sermon as I could hope for. Radio-wise, you are more likely to have heard her ballad "Almost Lover" if anything. |

| lost in the fog | Wow, I've just discovered Dengue Fever. No, not the disease! I like, a whole lot! For those that listen to NPR, Fresh Air today is talking to them and also playing class Cambodian rock samples. |

| Swing Swank | I've been listening to Germans yelling, otherwise know as Wagner's Ring Cycle. I thought my neighbors needed to hear something besides their usual hip hop and Mexican polka music.
