I personally don't see any correlation between thread size and load time (remember: size isn't everything

).

I have some threads get hung up on load and others not with no dependence on threads size.

My rear view mirror fell off. WTF?

Got in the van after a quick-feeling day at work and there it was, looking at me as I was looking at it. Like someone had removed it and set it down facing me right where I'd see it. I guess it just fell off.

So... I guess the auto part store had some sort of glue or something to put it back on? or something?

Yes, you can buy the glue at an autoparts store. Maybe a drugstore, too.

It is odd how they fall off sometimes. Is it the heat? Quite the pizzer.

It's common. The glue gets weak after a while. The trick is to be sure to put it back in the same place. Get the kit for this- trust me.

You have to first remove all the old glue, then use the glass etching solution, then the proper glue. Or it will fall off while you are driving and scare the you-know-what out of you.

Trust me, I know. My soda straw went right up my nose and I bled all over my hamburger and fries.

Funny to think about now, but wasn't back then.

I'm telling you that welding is the way to go. Take a hot torch to glass and plastic and make that sucker stick!
