When comparing the official document with the "amended" document, they are totally the same in fonts, even the court case numbers at the top, and the squiggley line down the center. The only problem is that it was in no way an offical document. I know Dawn well enough to know she used the official form to recreate the amended one. I am a whole lot smarter than they are and knew where it came from immediatly.

This all happened in the middle of summer. Part of the amended thing was that Nickolas was to be here one week and there the next, shutteling him back and forth every other week. I knowe why she did this, so that David wouldn't have to pay 1/2 of his summer day care costs.
Now that school is back in session it is a dead issue.

This weekend Nickolas came home with a few gems. His dad told hi mthat we need to disconnect the internet and that I need to get rid of my nails.

LOL He thinks he has the right to dictate my life!!!!

In the meantime he wonders why I am so insistant on getting Nickolas in to see a counselor.

What a tool. Still trying to control you. Maybe they should disconnect their internet and cable and get rid of all their miscellaneous expenses.

MG, I should know this, but how old is your boy?
I've been slowly teaching mine that its not his job to ferry information. I wont ask him about Daddy, and if I have messages, I can call, or use email. Or heaven forbid, send a note.
I'm sure you have told yours the same, I just know that for me, thats been the hardest lesson.

I have been trying to tell him, his job is to be a kid, go to school, and work hard.

Well put. This is one of the hardest things I have to do as well. I don't ask her anything about what happens at Dads. She tells me sometimes this or that but I don't question her. Her Dad of course is another matter. He also thinks he can still tell me what to do in my own house. Whatever.

MG - Counseling is a great idea. We did some through the school which helped her a lot. Just a neutral party that she could work her feelings through with.

Am I really this bored?

So I've got this friend at work. He's generally an upbeat kind of guy, but the kind that really wishes he didn't have to do this crap for a living. So to keep himself sane, he likes to mess with people. Nothing horribly malicious, just little things.

One of his favorites is to shift the coffee maker around. We've got a fancy automatic coffee maker that you can just stick these little packets in and it spits out a cup of coffee. The packets are in a rack that sits right next to the machine. He goes into the break room, and just kinda slides the rack out a little bit, then he takes one of the coffee packets off the rack and puts it on top.

Like I said, nothing malicious, but it gives him no end of amusement when he hears people trying to figure it out. "Who keeps doing that? It's annoying!"

So today I figured he deserved a little messing with of his own. I did a clip art search, found a coffee maker image, and printed up a sign that says, "Please do not move coffee-making equipment" and taped it to the rack. That should throw him for a loop.

Yup, I'm that bored.

Hahahaha, he just came by to inform me of the sign. I almost lost it before he even said a word. His first reaction was, "Well, the packet rack isn't really 'coffee making equipment', so it doesn't apply." Now his plan is to gradually drip coffee on it until someone removes it, then go back to sliding the rack around.

It's office games like that which (with the right frame of mind) can make the very mundane enjoyable. He'll probably like the "sparring."
