I was even thinking of going to Target and buying yet another version of the trilogy. I think it's the version with the extended versions of the movie on two discs and little to no extras. I may just do that. | |

| Kink of Swank | Funny, but when I watch Fellowship (which is really the only one I'm likely to ever watch), I watch the Theatrical Version. IMO, the extended versions of the other two are far superior to what was put out in theaters, but not so for Fellowship. Oh, there are one or two nifty added scenes ... but the editing and shot selections of three important sections is really much better in the original cut. |

				            | Was there a cemetary screening tonight or something? This board's been awfully quiet...

| Beelzeboobs, Esq. | I got to dump the spouse off to have Man Time (chaperoned by a three year old girl) while I did dinner and a movie with my library school bud. I never go out on Friday nights, so that's actually rather odd.

				            | Aside from the flaming roll of paper towel thrown into the crowd the Marylin Manson concert was amazing. Got to see myMatt, who would make a great Jack Skellington for Halloween. The opening act of Slayer on the other hand... well I'm just glad we stayed outside the entire time. Some scary people showed up for Slayer (and then left). |

				            | The word "DUH" came to mind.... I had Margarita Night at my house, and was up until 1:30am, which is quite a feet for this old man getting close to 50 years old! My Margaritas are getting quite famous, so they draw a crowd. Not to mention the Tiki Hut decorated with pink falmingo lights in the back yard next to the pond and water fall. I need an old man icon ......

				            | I prefer the extended version of all 3, especially the first one. I love the scenes in the Shire and of the Elves. Right now I am contemplating locking up PoohDog ion the side of the house. The people behind us are having a wedding the their back yard. He keeps barking. I don't think I would feel as bad if they hadn't rented everything from my company and I didn't know how much it was costing them. |

				            | Sorry I wasn't on last night - we went to see Wicked!!!!!!!! I cried during a couple of the songs but especially during Defy Gravity and the thing with her skirt. I mean, I was expecting a flying bit but they really did it up. Fantastic. Now I want to see it again.

				            | ^ Wow! I went Thursday night, what an amazing show. Not a single performer on stage was marking, everyone was excellent, Eden is phenomenally gifted, the costumes, sets, effects, orchestra - just stunning. I cried throughout most of the first act! My only caveat, if you go for the lottery and don't win, and if you opt for the $45.00 tickets, you're likely to be sitting amongst the gummos of the world. Absolutely no idea of how to behave in a theatre. You gets what you pays for. I am planning to go again.
