Sure it's technically not a cured pork product but done right it is pretty darn good and has many similarities.

I picked up a few packs of very tasty high quality Beef Jerky during my recent visit to pikes place market. I'm having to carefully ration them to prevent a full on carnivorous feeding frenzy.

I should say, I am a big fan of the jerky meats, so this isn't to dis them. But keep yer beef outta my pork!
