Yesterday was in the low 80s as I walked around the art show in the park blocks. After a nice cleansing overnight shower, it is clear and 64 right now, with a few high, puffy clouds and a projected high of 74. We might get a thunderstorm this afternoon, and then it should be sunny and in the 70s to low 80s the rest of the week. I have the week off from zoo and show. I think I'll be wandering the streets of Portland, randomly enjoying the approach of Indian Summer. You may now throw things at me. ron |

| Nueve | Today seems so much nicer already. Warm, but not like yesterday. When I got on the plane at what would have been 5AM PST yesterday, the pilot said it was a nice 80 degrees in LB. This morning, it was a nice 75 at 7:30. That's promising.

| I Floop the Pig | We spent much of Sunday in West Hills where it was a lovely 106 at 3PM. Yesterday's ~90 in Orange was a cool, refreshing change. I am so freaking glad I replaced our thermostat last week.

				            | Ugg, back to work today. And to top it off, it's the first day of our fiscal year and we have to do a complete physical inventory. We stock thousands of components, and we are starting a new inventory system and programing. It will make things easier in the long run, but for now it is a big huge PITA!!!!! At least we have air conditioning.........

				            | MSN.com is predicting 93 for the high in Aliso Viejo today... can that possibly be true?

				            | What a lousy weekend to go camping. It was 111 yesterday and about the same all weekend.

				            | iGoogle says it is currently 82 in RSM, Irvine and HB. The high in RSM is supposed to be 97. In Irvine it is supposed to be 94 and in HB it is supposed to be 77. I think I am rethinking my city choices again. |

| Nevermind | Today Tori started her first day back in public school, albeit a homeschool co-op. She'll go one full day a week, and the rest we do at home like usual. She was sooo nervous- she could hardly sleep last night, poor kid. She loves school, but her last classroom experience was not a good one so she is a bit apprehensive. (Me, too). Still, it's not like we can't just pull her out and continue on privately homeschooling, and this way she gets a bit more socialization. Going to be a long day...... |
