By a "quirk" of fate, I was back from Vegas at 8:30 this morning ... and could have gone to this afterall - if I had remembered, and if I'd had any sleep the night before.

Thank you DavidE for a wonderful get-together. I know we were only supposed to be hanging out at your house for a short while, but the heat was too high, the drinks too wonderful and the yard too pleasant. I appreciate the gracious hospitality of you and your lovely wife (and Emma!). We had a lovely day and, some day soon we may even get to see the Mission! I guess we need to visit SJC again.

Thanks to David E and especially his wife who let him host a party with people he had just met on the internet. Fabulous time, maybe someday we can do the Mission?
