Awwww! Momma just left the nest to go get food. I saw the baby and the egg, then heard her buzzing wings as she came back and gave baby some numnums.

There are now 2 babies. Little hairless wiggly things. Momma came zooming back in and nestled down. And they are in a rose bush - right?

I'm going to have to say that two extra fingers gives the panda an advantage.

Also, its ability to wave in a friendly manner will put the polar bear off its guard before getting sucker punched.
