Ya know, I was thinking of posting here this past weekend, but I was covered in taupe paint most of the time. I took some pics of my paint project, and will post before/after pics. Might I say that vaulted ceilings suck? And that I suck at painting them?

I think the thought of my purple leather jacket has everyone stunned.

I know I'm stunned.

Actually, I'm closer to stoned at the moment. Dental appointment. Finally got my replacement crown (yay) and my giant, cracked filling replaced (yay), but the anesthetic wore off part way through the filling and then it hurt LOTS because it was so deep. And then I had to pee. And then I had to wait outside the one bathroom with the dental dam in place, doing the pee-pee dance, while some old bat replaced her facial spackle. And then they made my tooth hurt more.

But Ryan bought me pudding because I can't chew tonight. Pudding. I love pudding.

Soooooo.....I wanna hear what taupe paint WB used.

I have various shades of paint taped to my walls at the moment. The Hallway will be first victim of the brush. I'm thinking something fun but not too bright. I use the hallway as a "gallery" for mostly Disney prints and other assorted schtuff. I was thinking a Tomorrowland Blue, but I think it will be too bright - especially next to the vermillion dining room. So, I'm all about paint lately.

soooo, work kicked my azz today.

so many are quiting or getting fired for excessive points and we are STILL busy as heck.

soon, i will be the sole survivor of my class. if i can hang in there. it ain't easy.

It's a really light taupe- our house has an open floor plan, so all the colors need to complement each other, as they run into each other rather abruptly. The room next to the hallway/entryway is a sage green, and our family room is ecru.

Colors sound great, WB!

Soooooo, today I went to the Post Office to mail some goodies. One was in a tube and had to be passed to the postal worker through the "big vault". (This PO has apparently bullet proof glass and vaults which can only be opened one side at a time.)

Sooooo, I went to walk over to the "big vault" and tripped over the padded mat they had in front of the next window. I literally went airborn, ran into another customer and ended up with my feet miraculously on the ground. I did the little running thing to keep myself upright and did not end up on the ground. Nice feat for someone as klutzy as I can be.

Anyways, about 2 hours ago my body started aching. Now, it out and out HURTS! Nice.

The sad part is, the postal guy didn't seem one tiny bit concerned about me. Bastard.
