				            | That poor bear! Holding himself onto the bridge all night. I'm glad he's safe.

| Nueve | I don't know what to do with tonight. I was supposed to be at a school function at some point between 5 and 8, and then another thing that goes from 9 until 2AM (though I was only going to stay a while.) Given all the insanity that just happened, I've decided that I don't want to go back to campus to do anything there, and I'm still debating on going to the other shindig. I'll either have to be up at either 5:30 or 6 (depending on whether or not I'm bringing my sisters to school tomorrow in Costa Mesa) and I'm just... blah. Yet, I can't help but think that going out to this party might be a good thing, even if only for an hour. I'm so frustrated. I just needed to blather on about it. Don't mind me. I'll probably go. Or I won't. <shrug>

| Beelzeboobs, Esq. | Now I face a dilemma. I'd much rather have a 2-year clerkship. A 1-year clerkship that starts in August means that I'd be applying for the next job or clerkship before I even started the first one. And a district court judge is considered to be more prestigious than a magistrate judge and would be an easier path to a potential circuit court clerkship. However, all things considered I'd prefer Wheeling to Sioux Falls. And while I don't really want to have a huge lag time between graduation and a job, and 8 months seems like a lot, 1 week seems too short. That would be packing up, selling the condo, and relocating -- all in three months. While finishing classes. In the winter. At the holidays. In the snow. Uphill both ways, barefoot. I don't know whether I hope SD judge offers me the position or picks someone else. ARG!
