Well poop.

On the plus side, I don't have to feel like a doofus for not noticing that we were watching George Harrison's son (who an internet search reveals looks and sounds like a whole lot like his dad). But it turns out that who we though was thenewno2, Dhani Harrison's band, was actually the act before them, Ariel Pink's Haunted Grafitti. No idea how that happened since Haunted Graffitti was supposed to have been long done by the time we hit that tent, but I guess things were running a bit late. And now I'm left to wonder if we would have figured out who we were watching if we HAD seen the real thenewno2.

MIA said she wants to do it again.

But the line-up isn't traditionally announced until late January or so.

Of course, if what mousepod reported to us is true, they're going to have to make some changes if they want to continue this. Apparently with the increased star-power of the headliners in the last couple of years (McCartney, Madonna, Prince, Waters), has come significantly increased appearance fees and thus diminishing, possibly disappearing, profits.
