We just found out that our power will be out at work until 9:00 am. We'll have only a skeleton staff here from 7:00-9:00; the rest of us don't have to come in until 9:00. I get to sleep in!

I love days like today. I got more accomplished than I have in any single workday in a long time. Walking out the door without worrying about tomorrow's priorities is a wonderful thing.

Our female Gecko had escaped a couple of weeks ago. We were really starting to stress as our condo is getting fumigated (tented) on August 17th.

As I got up just now (can't sleep), I heard a rustle as I walked down the hall - small rodent sized activity. I turned on the hall light and saw her scrambling down the hall. YEAH!!!!

I am VERY happy.

Now we have to figure out what to do with six Geckos, six Bearded Dragons, three Panther Chameleons, and four cats for three nights...
