Well, even if they use them again, you won't see it repeated since you won't be playing anymore.

I liked the compass game. You just had to stop for a moment and let it settle. Turning the compass to make it go where you want only sends it spinning and wobbling. North is always north.

Some people are ditzes about recognizing sketches of luggage, some are ditzes about using a compass, some are ditzes for not matching correct letters to corresponding boxes. That is what makes the game so fun. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. MouseAdventure..yaaaayyyy!

What did you all think of the puzzle that lead you to Buzz? The one you did on the train or Mark Twain? We were calling it the advent calendar puzzle, the one you had to cut the windows into the letter grid.

So, did anyone here do the photo-quest thing? It sounded cool at least conceptually.

We didn't have any problem with the "advent" puzzle. I'm just glad someone with better eyes saw the date on the paddle boat, or we would've been screwed.

Fej asked m earlier today if we chose Train or Twain. The Twain wasn't running when we got there, so we made the obvious decision. Did anyone choose Twain?

I loved having our little "lunch break" in the Tiki Room. It was a perfect time to get out our various baggies of protein-rich goodies and renew our energy - not to mention cool off.

Having beta-tested the Invitational, I knew it was going to be tough and possibly put some who were more accustomed to the regular format. It relied more on puzzles, and not as much on Disney knowledge. The compasses gave me trouble also. I think I have a electromagnetic disturbance field around me. I really enjoyed it and wish I could have joined my original team The clocks were pretty easy for our test team.

Oh, we loved how we were in second place, and by the time the train came we were even with like 5 teams, one jumping on just before the gate closed. That was a true Amazing Race catchup trick. That was mean because we were on a timed event.

The advent calendar was cool. It took a moment to think it through. We knew right away to fold the whole page in half. It still took a minute to actually tear vs. trying to fold the lines to make one of those little elementary school "pick a number/favorite color/who do you like?" games. Clever!

Love ya', bro! The clocks were easy but we didn't read carefully at first and found like four before we realized we needed to be recording the time! The clock was a ticking when we had to revisit each location. (hee hee, I punny)

What I liked about the Soduku was that it introduced us to map symbols we never noticed. Like the "stand here" guy and the ejector seat wheelchair ride.

Yeah. Somehow we had the wrong answers from the first quest (and yet came up with the right total *shrug*). So ours came out...interesting. It took a lot of creative visualization to finally piece together what it actually was trying to say...
