I'm at work, trying to find things to do to avoid going over the timesheets I need to submit tomorrow morning.

I hate tmesheets.

So...I am finally looking for a job. I went to an "orientation" tonight. It is in a call center, which brought back some really baaaad feelings. The pay is less than what I want, but there is a chance to earn bonuses. I have decided to go ahead and schedual an interview, but will continue looking. I also want to apply for the County, they have a mess of openings, but all require a typing test and I am not sure I am ready for that yet.

Dang it!! I sososoooo don't want to go back to work.

All I want to do right now is take a nap. After the 3rd phone call in 10 mins I have given up. The company I visited yesterday called me this morning and asked me to go in for an interview at noon today. I still have a lot of mixed feelings about it, but I am still interested.

The thought that keeps running through my head is that I have to put on makeup for the 2nd day in a row.

*sigh*

I'm trying to figure out how to get the slurper in the next cube to quit-it. It's disgusting to hear (and loud enough that headphones don't block it out).

LOL!!! I can totally relate. I used to work with a gum chewer. She chomped it like a cow chewing its cud. It bugged me and she was 3 desks away, I always wondered what her customers thought of it. The other peeve was the popcorn munchers. I hate the smell of microwaved popcorn.

... I'm wondering why women consider the ladies room to be another conference room. Every day this week I've walked in the ladies room to discover groups of women discussing work. Not the causal hellos said as you pass; all out discussions. We have 8 conference rooms and 4 empty offices. And the ladies room echos so you can hear it in the office.

what is bad is when someone is on the phone in the ladies room.

I always make sure to flush a couple times so the person they are talking to knows where they are.
