As a temporary thing, I liked it. I didn't pay attention to any of the special effects or anything though....I was just enthralled with seeing the track. I definitely wouldn't want it to be a permanent change, but I did like it.

Rockin' Ca. Screamin' on the other hand, I wouldn't mind at all if they kept that soundtrack permanently.

Now that they turned the lights on, it's a lot easier to aim things to cause proximity trips...

Norm and I recently rode Matterhorn with the lights on. It's kinda sad.

I found out that a couple of CMs have started talking about this crazy guy who screams the entire way down...

BTW, peeve of mine to claim that Florida's original Space Mountain is the Matterhorn in the dark. It's nothing of the sort. The layout is completely different. The factors in common are simply that there are two separate tracks in the same facility, and the ride vehicles have single-file seating like the bobsleds (especially like the upcoming bobsleds after the next Matterhorn refurb).

That's a peeve of mine, too.

Especially since Matterhorn Bobsleds didn't get the two car trains until 1978.

I just wanted to say to everyone who has posted~
whether you like the ride, the Peppers, or not:

thank you for keeping it at your personal tastes as to the ride changing or the music not being quite your style.

Not that they don't properly represent Disney, that their music style is inappropriate, that they are inappropriate, kids will suffer being exposed to them, some of their lyrics sound *gasp* evil, and Flea smokes and you know who died from smoking in 1965!!!!!

This is, indeed without a doubt, the most swankiest board of all.

On another board I have been deemed {by one poster} "One of those parents that makes me glad to be homeschooling my five kids!!!"

{or something to that effect}

{and now that I've brought up those subjects, please just forget them!!!}

*sigh* so glad to be among swanksters.....

That one poster is obviously a dinglecheese.

If I had kids and homeschooled them, I'd charge them tuition.
