I thought I saw Cary Elwes and Fred Schneider from the B52's driving over Laurel Canyon. (Two separate SUVs.) I could have been seeing things though.

I'm glad I don't want to make it out of Oregon right now. The passes are closed in every direction, um do you think it's gonna snow

The sucky part is Gary is trapped over a couple of those passes. If he makes it home then he has to fight the other direction on Monday. I can't remember if there are actual passes on the way to Seattle. Hmm, I guess I should go look that up.

I'm wondering when the bad days will end.

I lost track of how many guests were rude or in some cases pushing the boundaries of abusive, my backpack broke, and then I almost got run over by a fire truck (actually damaged my left shoe).

Surprisingly, the universe is depressingly unconcerned with a good party.

However we could plan a combo mock-NYE / End of the world swanking for December 20th. We just need to find a truly swank location that will let us pay in full after the event.
