I have a 3 day weekend.
Tomorrow I am going to Chino for a friend's bridal shower. I tried to beg off, but then she played the mom card, "My mom wants you to go so she can meet you before the wedding."
Then she played the Boy-Free card, "You don't have Boy this weekend, so what's the problem?"

Sunday I get to clean house and wait for Boy to get home.

Monday he and I get to work on his State report. He ended up with Nevada.

Actually, I have every day off if I want it, but I'm working at home for the time being. It sucks that my boyfriend has the day off, but has another week in Iowa before he can come home. Sure, we could fork out $500 and have him come home, but at the cost of a much needed couch and/or day bed for the extra room? Not really...

I should amend that with new couch. We have a couch... it's just not all that comfortable any more.

Is anyone else having a problem with squirrels falling out of the sky and landing on them?

I can honestly say I have never had a squirrel fall out of the sky on me. I've had them bombard my tent with pine cones when they thought they needed breakfast but never fall out of the sky. Remind me not to stand too close to either of you!

Could be worse... my brother once had a fish drop from the sky onto the hood of his car while driving.

We thought we had Monday off but we just found the 2008 Holiday Calendar and umm - we don't.
