1 pound thick center-cut bacon
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp rice vinegar
black pepper to taste

I have to confess I made something like this for the Superbowl, except with little smokies. To add to the confession I took the leftover bacon and made something like Lash's recipe but with only brown sugar. That was the most delicious bacon ever, thankfully there wasn't many pieces left from the smokies because I would have eaten a pan of brown sugar bacon
