I hate people like this. This isn't a damn nanny state. They want their product to sell well so they can raise a lot of money for the scouts. And she should shut the hell up about the 2 months thing, because if Thin Mints were available year round, there'd be a lot more of them consumed than when you buy yourself a couple boxes and have to ration your cookies out.

I don't buy girl scout cookies except directly from parents at work. I'm not going to endorse parent that pimp out their children by standing them in front of grocery stores doing nothing but looking cute in exchange for money.

And when I do feel the need for a thin mint while exiting Safeway and cave to temptation, as I hand them my $4 I say to them "I'm surprised they let you little whores wear such long skirts! Repent, and accept Lord Jesus as your savior!" Tough love, it works.

But how is it already cookie season, have they gone year round? There was a troop of girl scouts outside our local Safeway within the last four months (I can be sure because that is when it became my local Safeway).

I feel bad for the Cub Scouts out there selling popcorn. It is somehow ok to buy candy from girls because they're just so cute but Dad will beat me up if that's the reason I'm buying popcorn. But they're not whores, they're gigolos, and that is a respectable profession.
