I agree that mice are superior to rats. Rats were too big for my snake.

I have found mice to be more cute, and rats to be more trainable and personable. It's like compairing cats and dogs. They each have their own niche.

Our Kristi was scary smart. True story...

She always seemed to know when I was pregnant. As soon as I would sit down on the couch, she would drape herself over my belly like she was trying to hatch me. I'm guessing she could feel the babies move. She insisted on doing this as soon as I would start showing.

The breed itself used to be popular circus dogs. They are terribly smart and very agile. If you remember the little white dogs with the clown collars that could walk tightropes...those were Eskies.

The meeses are small enough to fit on my office desk, hence why I call them "production mice".

I've loved many rats before though. The only problem is that mice are a bit more skittish and take a little longer to train. These girls still squeak and run from my hand. Although, they love me when I offer them treats. Me thinks I'm already being played...

I'm under the cloud of a malaise I can't quite put my finger on today. There's nothing extraordinarily wrong, but even contented and relaxed I feel like I'm under a cloud somehow. I got news about a client that kind of put a damper on my morning, but not enough to justify being blue all day. Weird. Annoying.

Maybe I'm just stressed?

its called spring fever.

I get it bad. it's usually cured by going out and breaking the winter indoor cycle with some time in the springtime sun doing something (or someone) you enjoy
